Wednesday 4th May

Simon Vials and his partner Julie have set sail from Horizon Shores marina early this morning. In preparation for the maiden voyage to Abel Point marina in Airlie Beach, the 40ft Sloop ‘Goodonya' has been in the shipyard at Horizon Shores receiving some wood work maintenance and a new paint job. For the next 4 weeks, Simon and Julie plan to take their time while cruising north. With Julie having recently retired, they are going to moor at Abel Point marina until late October/early November, before heading back down to Horizon Shores for the summer months.
